Quick and easy use in 3 stages!

• Fill with liquid (anti-freeze liquid or alcohol) up to half of the container. Take the bee sample with the container;
• Separate the varroe from the bees by gently shaking for 60 seconds;
• Count the varroe that has fallen to the bottom and estimate the infestation.

Calculate the estimate of the infestation
<6 varroe on 300 bees: we are below the safety threshold;
between 6 – 15 varroe: must be treated quickly;
> 15 varroe: treat immediately.

How many hives to sample?
1-5 hives → all;
6-20 hives → at least 5;
> 20 hives → at least 8.
